Vegetable in Oyster Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 900 gram crisp lettuce ( cut into about 10 cm lengths)

  • 1/2 metric cup oyster sauce

  • 4 tbsp mushroom sauce

  • 6 tbsp freshly prepared pork lard

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  •  pepper

  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Chinese rice wine

  • 1/2 metric cup hot water

  • 2 cloves crushed garlic

Method

 

1. Heat lard and sesame oil in a saucepan.

2. Fry the garlic till fragrant.

3. Add water, stirring in the sauces. Quickly put in the vegetable stirring fast over high heat.

4. Put vegetable onto serving platter, pouring the wine over and sprinkle with pepper
