Pickled Celery Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large head celery

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 dessertspoon sesame oil

Method

 

1. Wash the celery, remove all stringy bits, cut into thick chunks, put in a colander and scald with

    boiling water.
2. Drain and dry.
3. Season with salt, vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil, adding all these condiments while the celery

    is still hot.
4. Serve hot or cold.
