Mushrooms with Peas in Oyster Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 227 grams fresh mushrooms

  • 1 packet frozen peas

  • salted water

  • 1-2 tablespoons peanut oil

  • 15 grams spring onions chopped

  • 15 grams fresh ginger thinly sliced

  • 280 ml chicken stock (or water with a bouillon cube)

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • pinch Ve-Tsin

  • 57 grams oyster sauce

  • a few drops sesame oil

Method
 

1. Wash the mushrooms quickly without soaking and dry on cloth.
2. Cook the peas in 2-3 tablespoons lightly salted water for 2 minutes and drain.
3. Heat oil and fry spring onions and ginger for 1 minute. Add mushrooms, peas, stock and soy sauce.
4. Sprinkle in corn flour and Ve-Tsin, stir to blend well and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Blend in oyster sauce, cook for 2 minutes.
6. Sprinkle with sesame oil and serve.
