1. Wash shrimps and soak in hot water for
30 minutes.
2. Clean the lettuce and break into pieces 2-inches square.
3. Heat oil. Add salt and lettuce and quick fry for 10-15 seconds,
stirring all the time.
4. Add sugar, soy sauce, shrimps and their water. Mix.
5. Cook for 3 minutes and serve.
Variation: Cabbage with dried shrimps
As above, substituting cabbage for lettuce
