Fried Watercress with Bean Curd Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 grams watercress

  • 2 tablespoons lard (or oil)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 pieces white bean curd

  • 2 tablespoons water 

Method

 

1. Wash the watercress, drain on a cloth, and chop into 1-inch pieces.
2. Heat lard, add salt, and quickly toss the watercress for 30 seconds, stirring all the time.
3. Add sugar and bean curd diluted with water.
4. Blend in, add the water, simmer for 3 minutes and serve.
