Fried Cabbage (2) Recipe

cooking time : 6 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 15 grams lard (or oil)

  • 450 grams cabbage, in fine strips

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 280 ml water

Method

 

1. Quick fry cabbage in hot fat for 3 minutes.

2. Add vinegar, salt and sugar.

3. Fry for another 3 minutes and serve.

 

Variations

Fried Spring Greens

As above, substituting spring greens for cabbage.

 

Fried Brussels Sprouts

As above, substituting Brussels, sprouts for spring greens, cutting them in half, if big.
