Chinese Celery Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 head celery

  • 1.14 litter water, boiling

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • pinch salt

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Method

 

1. Wash celery stalks, cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks, then slice each chunk into 3-4 pieces lengthwise.
2. Drop celery into boiling water, remove from heat but leave in the water for 2-3 minutes.
3. Drain, rinse with cold water, drain again and chill until required.
4. Combine soy sauce, salt and sesame oil, toss the celery in this dressing and serve.
