Chinese Asparagus Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 680 grams asparagus, cut into 1 4--inch lengths

  • salt

  • 850 ml boiling water

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon salad oil

Method

 

1. Drop asparagus into salted boiling water. Allow to come up to the boil again.
2. Cook for 3 minutes, drain, rinse with cold water and chill until required.
3. Arrange on a serving dish. Combine soy sauce with sugar and oil, toss the asparagus in this

   dressing and serve.
