Cabbage Heart with Crab Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 227 grams cabbage heart

  • salt

  • water

  • 1- 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 1 tablespoon Chinese wine (or sherry)

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 113 grams crab meat, flaked (canned or fresh)

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • 2 tablespoon cold water

Method

 

1. Cut the cabbage into 1- inch pieces, cook in a little salted boiling water for 7-8 minutes and

    drain thoroughly.

2. Heat oil in frying pan, add garlic, cook for 2 minutes and discard garlic.

3. Add cabbage, wine and soy sauce. Cook for 1 minute stirring all the time.

4. Add crab meat, stir and cook for 1 minute.

5. Dilute corn flour in cold water, blend into the pan, cook for 1 minute and serve.
