Broccoli Hong Kong Style Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 grams broccoli

  • 3 tablespoons oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon gin

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons stock (or water)

Method

 

1. Wash the broccoli and cut into pieces 14-inches long.
2. Heat oil, sprinkle in salt, and cook the broccoli uncovered for 8 minutes, shaking the pan from time to time.
3. Mix soy sauce, gin and sugar and pour over the broccoli.
4. Add hot stock, cover, bring to the boil, cook for 2 minutes and serve.
