Bean Curd with Fish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 227 grams bean curd

  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

  • 227 grams fresh fish (any chopped fish of suitable size)

  • 1 tablespoon sherry

  • 1 teaspoon green ginger, minced

  • 1 dessertspoon soy sauce

  • 30 grams spring onions, chopped

  • salt and pepper

  • 280 ml water

Method

 

1. Cut bean curd into oblong pieces.
2. Heat peanut oil and fry the fish whole.
3. When fish is golden on both sides, pour the sherry mixed with green ginger over it, add soy sauce,

    spring onions, salt and pepper to taste and water. (The water can be poured in little by little

    as it becomes absorbed.)
4. Simmer the fish for 15 minutes, add bean curd and cook together for 5 minutes, then serve.
