Pork and Lotus Root Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 grams lean pork

  • 57 grams dried lotus roots

  • 30 grams dried lotus roots

  • 30 grams mushrooms

  • 2.27 litter water

  • salt

  • soy sauce

Method

 

1. Place all ingredients in saucepan (except soy sauce).
2. Cook for about 2 hours, this should reduce the liquid to 1.14 litter.
3. Remove pork, cut into strips 1-inch long and 4-inch thick.
4. Put strips back into soup, add salt and serve with soy sauce.
