Chicken and Ham Soup Recipe

cooking time: 3 hours


Ingredients

  • 1 boiling fowl, cleaned

  • 2 litter water

  • 56 grams awabi, dried

  • 2 tablespoons sherry

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 114 grams Chinese ham, shredded

  • few spring onions, chopped
     

Method

 

1. Put chicken in water and bring to the boil.

2. Add awabi, sherry, salt and ham.
3. Simmer gently for 2-3 hours. Before serving, sprinkle with spring onions.


Note:
If awabi is, not available, shrimps can be substituted.
