Ingredients

227 grams breast of chicken

1.14 litter water

1 can asparagus tips (or 1 small bundle
fresh asparagus)

1/4 teaspoon Ve-Tsin

1 teaspoon brandy (or dry sherry)

1 teaspoon corn flour(cornstarch)

2 tablespoons cold water salt

knob green ginger (optional)
Method
1. Slice the chicken and boil in water with the asparagus and its
liquid.
2. Simmer for 30 minutes.
3. Add Ve-Tsin and brandy.
4. Thicken with corn flour and water.
5. Salt to taste and serve.
Note:
When fresh asparagus is used it should be cut into slices 1-inch long
and boiled uncovered with the ginger and the chicken for 45 minutes.
