Yong Chow Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225 g shrimps (shelled)

  • 150 g char siew or lean pork (diced)

  • 4 tbsp green peas

  • 1 red chili (diced)

  • 2 lup cheong (cut into thin slices)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 stalks spring onion (finely chopped)

  • 6 stalks spring onion (finely chopped)

  • 6 rice bowls of cooked rice

  • 2 cucumbers, 1 tomato (for decoration)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp corn flour

  • a little egg white

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • stock (optional)

Method

 

1. Mix the shrimps with the seasoning.

2. Fry in moderately heated oil and remove for later use.

3. Heat up oil to fry cooked rice and beaten eggs, add in green peas, char siew, lup cheong, shrimps and

    seasoning.

4. Lastly mix in spring onion and red chili (diced).

5. Dish up and garnish with cucumber and tomato. Serve hot.
