Rice with Steamed Chicken Recipe

cooking time: 25 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 113 grams chicken, sliced

  • 113 grams mushrooms, sliced

  • 30 grams celery, diced

  • 30 grams bamboo shoots, diced

  • 10 chives, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon corn flour

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 227 grams rice

  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

 

1. Mix chicken and vegetables with corn flour and soy sauce.
2. Boil the rice, and when water is nearly absorbed pile the chicken and vegetables on top of it with

    the butter.
3. Cover. Simmer gently for 15 minutes.


Note:
This will be enough to cook the chicken and for it to impart its flavour to the rice.
