Plain Boiled Rice 3 Recipe

cooking time : 20 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 227 grams rice

  • cold water

Method

 

1. Wash the rice in water several times.
2. Add water, cover and boil over a hot flame until the water evaporates. Do not stir while rice is boiling,

    as this will prevent the grains from separating.
3. Keep warm until ready for use, leaving the lid on. (If an electric stove is used, heat may be turned off

    and pot kept covered on the burner. If the rice is cooked on a gas stove, turn the flame down very

    low after the water has evaporated.)


Note:
Roughly speaking, 227 grams  uncooked rice makes double that quantity cooked rice
