Sweet and Sour Pork Special Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 dozen egg noodle squares

  • 85 grams fresh pork

  • 113 grams roast lean pork

  • 57 grams fresh cucumber

  • 57 grams celery

  • 57 grams onions

  • 57 grams onions

  • 57 grams water chestnuts

  • 57 grams bamboo shoots

  • 113 grams breast of chicken

  • 57 grams pork, minced

  • salt

  • 57 grams mushrooms, sliced

  • 57 grams fresh shrimps, shelled

  • oil for deep frying

  • sweet sour sauce

 

Method

 

1. Prepare egg noodle squares, using pastry described in recipe for Chinese Wun Tun Soup.

2. Cut fresh pork, roast pork, cucumber, celery, onion, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and breast of

   chicken very finely.

3. Roll a little of the minced pork and enclose it in one corner of each egg noodle square.

4. Heat an oiled pan and fry fresh pork in it for 1 minute. Season with salt.

5. Add roast pork, onion, bamboo shoots, cucumber, celery, water chestnuts, mushrooms, shrimps and

   chicken.

6. Cook for 3 minutes.

7. Deep fry the egg noodle squares in plenty of oil for 2 minutes and arrange them on a dish.

8. Pour the sweet sour sauce over roast pork, vegetables, etc.,cook for 1 minute.

9. Heap the contents of the pan on top of the egg noodle squares and serve.
