Stewed Mutton Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 grams leg of mutton

  • 1.14 litter water

  • 1 tablespoon brandy

  • pinch powdered ginger

  • 30 grams dried orange peel

  • 1 dessertspoon soy sauce

  • 30 grams dried orange peel

  • 1 teaspoon salt
     

Method

 

1. Cut meat into neat cubes.
2. Simmer in water, with lid on, on low heat for 2 hours, with brandy, ginger and orange peel.
3. Stir from time to time.
4. Season with soy sauce and salt, and serve.
