Silver and Jade Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large packet frozen broccoli

  • 340 grams cooked chicken breast boned

  • 113 grams ham sliced

  • pinch Ve-Tsin

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil

  • 280 ml chicken stock (or water with a bouillon cube)

 

Method

 

1. Boil broccoli in salted water for 6 minutes and drain.

2. Cut chicken into thin slices. Put a slice of ham between two slices of chicken and sandwich together.

3. Arrange these chicken and ham "sandwiches" on a dish.

4. Garnish with broccoli stalks, cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths.

5. Combine Ve-Tsin, corn flour and salt. Heat oil and fry the Ve-Tsin mixture for a few seconds.

6. Dilute with stock, adding it little by little and blending in smoothly. Simmer for 1 minute, pour over the

   Silver and Jade Chicken and serve.
