Pork with Bean Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients

  • oil for cooking

  • 227 grams pork, finely sliced

  • 680 grams bean sprouts

  • hot stock to cover

  • salt and pepper

  • soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon corn flour

  • 2 tablespoons cold water

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 2 small pieces Chinese preserved cucumber, sliced

  • 2-3 spring onions, chopped

Method

 

1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the pork for 1 minute.
2. Add bean sprouts and stock.
3. Simmer with lid on for 1 minute.
4. Season with salt, pepper and soy sauce.
5. Cook for 1 minute.
6. Add corn flour diluted with water, sesame oil, cucumbers and spring onions.
7. Cook for a further minute and serve.
