Ingredients

340 grams ox kidney

1 dessertspoon soy sauce

1 dessertspoon brandy

salt

1 large onion

1 dessertspoon oil

1 clove garlic

570 ml water

pepper
Method
1. Trim the kidney, remove all membranes,
and slice.
2. Mix with soy sauce, brandy and salt to taste.
3. Cut onion into thick rings.
4. Heat oil in pan with garlic, and brown kidneys quickly.
5. When the kidneys are almost cooked, add onion and stir.
6. As soon as the onions are cooked, add water, bring to the boil,
simmer for 1 minute, season with pepper
and serve.
