Fried Beef with Green Ginger Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 grams beef

  • 57 grams fresh ginger

  • 1 tablespoon Chinese salt beans with sauce (Hahm Dow)

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • salt

  • stock

  • 1 dessertspoon sherry

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • 2 tablespoons cold water

  • few drops sesame oil
     

Method

 

1. Cut beef and ginger into thin slices.
2. Put salt beans with sauce in hot oiled pan.
3. Season with salt and scramble for half a minute.
4. Add beef and ginger and cook for 1 minute.
5. Add sufficient stock to cover and cook for 1
1/2 minutes.
6 Add sherry, sugar, corn flour mixed with water and sesame oil.
7 Stir, cook for 2
1/2 minutes and serve.
