Duck with Shrimps and Bamboo Shoots Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 duck (1.4 kg)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 dessertspoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon brandy

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 227 grams giblets

  • 57 grams bamboo shoots

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 227 grams shrimps, shelled

  • 227 grams fresh mushrooms, sliced

  • 1.14 litter water

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
     

Method

 

1. Clean and wash duck and rub with salt.
2. Combine soy sauce, brandy and cinnamon and rub the duck with this mixture.
3. Slice the giblets and bamboo shoots.
4. Heat oil with garlic in a large pan, put in duck and giblets, fry until brown.
5. Add shrimps, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and the rest of the mixture used for painting the duck.
6. Add water, simmer gently for 2 hours, then add corn flour diluted with 2 tablespoons water.
7. Reheat and serve.
