Duck with Almonds Recipe

 

cooking time : 45 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 450 grams raw duck, diced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 227 grams peas

  • 2 tablespoons celery, diced

  • 57 grams mushrooms, sliced

  • 280 ml boiling water

  • 1 tablespoon corn flour

  • 113 grams roasted almonds

 

Method

 

1. Heat oil with salt, add duck and cook gently until nearly done ( the time would vary, depending on the

   age of duck).

2. Add soy sauce, vegetables and water.

3. Stir, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

4. Add corn flour, diluted with 3 tablespoons cold water, and cook, stirring until sauce thickens, add almonds,

   mix and serve.
