Deep Fried Whole Chicken Recipe

cooking time: 30-35 minutes


Ingredients

  • 1 young chicken

  • salt

  • 450 grams lard (or 570 ml oil)
     

Method

 

1. Wash and dry chicken on a cloth.
2. Heat lard and deep fry the chicken until it acquires a golden color.
3. Baste chicken frequently inside and out.
4. Cook for about 30-35 minutes.
5. Drain, sprinkle with salt, and serve.


Note:
The chicken should be crisp outside and tender inside.
