Chicken with Celery and Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 grams raw chicken meat, boned

  • 1 head celery

  • 2 tablespoons lard

  • 85 grams mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon corn flour

  • 4 tablespoons stock (or cold water)
     

Method

 

1. Cut chicken meat into thin slices.
2. String and cut celery into bite-size chunks.
3. Fry chicken in lard for 5 minutes, stirring all the time.
4. Add celery and mushrooms, stir, season with soy sauce.
5. Cook, stirring frequently for 3 minutes.
6. Dilute corn flour with stock, blend into the pan.
7. Simmer for 2 minutes and serve.
