Bean Curd with Minced Pork Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.8 kg pork, minced

  • 1 teaspoon flour

  • 1 tablespoon Chinese wine (or sherry)

  • salt and pepper

  • Ve-Tsin

  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped

  • 2 cakes fresh bean curd, diced

  • small pinch chilli paste (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

  • pinch sugar

  • pinch Chinese anise-pepper

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • 2-3 tablespoons stock (or water)
     

Method

 

1. Sprinkle pork with flour, wine, salt and pepper to taste and a pinch Ve-Tsin.
2. Fry in oil with spring onions for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add bean curd and the rest of ingredients except corn flour. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Dilute corn flour in stock, stir into the pan, cook for 2 minute and serve.
