Sweet and Sour Fillets of Fish Recipe

cooking time: 5 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 227 grams cod, filleted

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • corn flour

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • sweet and sour sauce

Method

 

1. Slice the fillets thinly and dip in egg and corn flour.
2. Heat oil in pan and fry fish, turning carefully, for 3 minutes. (When fish turns white it is ready.)
3. Add sauce. Stir, simmer for 2 minutes and serve.


Variation
Sweet and sour plaice

As above, allowing 4 plaice fillets, cut in strips, instead of cod.
