Ingredients

227 grams cod, filleted

1 egg, beaten

corn flour
-
1 tablespoon oil

sweet and sour sauce
Method
1. Slice the fillets thinly and dip in
egg and corn flour.
2. Heat oil in pan and fry fish, turning carefully, for 3 minutes.
(When fish turns white it is ready.)
3. Add sauce. Stir, simmer for 2 minutes and serve.
Variation
Sweet and sour plaice
As above, allowing 4 plaice fillets, cut in strips, instead of cod.
