Sea Bass-Hong Kong Style Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh sea bass (450 grams)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, finely grated

  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3 spring onions, cut in 2-inch pieces and slit lengthwise

  • 2 tablespoons oil

 

Method

 

1. Put the fish (whole) into a fish-kettle of boiling water, bring to the boil, simmer for 1 minute.
2. Cover, turn off heat and leave to stand for 20 minutes.
3. Drain gently, put on a dish, sprinkle with salt, soy sauce, lemon peel, ginger, cinnamon, spring onions and   

    oil and serve.
