Cuttlefish Tails Recipe

cooking time: 5 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoon oil

  • 1/2 clove garlic, crushed

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 15 fresh cuttlefish tails ( or canned awabi)

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons hot water

  • 1 teaspoons sugar

  • 2 - 3 spring onions, finely chopped

 

Method

 

1. Heat oil with garlic and salt.

2. Add cuttlefish tails and brown quickly on both sides ( 2 minutes).

3. Mix soy sauce, sherry, hot water, and sugar, pour this mixture over the fish, cover.

4. Bring to the boil, sprinkle with spring onions and serve.
