Cuttlefish with Mushrooms and Celery Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 450 grams cuttlefish (or canned awabi) in large dice

  • 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 large onion cut in rings

  • 113 grams celery, diced

  • 1/4 teaspoons pepper

  • 113 grams mushrooms

  • 1 dessertspoon corn flour

  • 1 teaspoon sherry

  • 1 dessertspoon corn flour

  • 280 ml water

  • 15 grams spring onions cut in 1 1/2 inch strips

Method

 

1. Heat the oil with garlic.

2. Add cuttlefish, season with salt and sauté for 5 minutes.

3. Add onion, celery, pepper, and mushrooms and fry for 3 minutes.

4. Blend soy sauce, sherry, corn flour and water.

5. Pour into the pan, bring to the boil, add spring onions and serve.
