Chop Suey Hot Pot Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 roasted hog's trotters (leave whole)

  • 1 roasted hogs' tail (leave whole)

  • 30 dried chilies (leave whole)

  • 10 pieces asam

  • salt

  • 2 chicken stock cubes

  • 4 plants mustard vegetables (kai choy) leave whole

  • 1/2 piece nutmeg

  • 4 red chilies

  • enough water to cover

 

Method

 

1. Put all ingredients in a saucepan, cover and simmer over moderate heat for 2 hours.

2. Add more stock if necessary. Serve hot with rice.
