Braised Shrimps and Bean Curd with Fish Sauce Recipe

 

Ingredients

  • 150 gram shelled shrimps

  • 3 cubes wrapped cloth bean curd

  • 1 small piece salted fish

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 tsp grated garlic

  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion

  • 2 tsps Zhejiang vineger

  • 1 tsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tsps water

  • 1 1/2 tsps cornflour

  • 3 tsps water

Method

 

1. Steam salted fish until done. Bone and finely chop.

2. Rinse shelled shrimps and wipe dry. Dice bean curd.

3. Heat 2 tbsps of oil in wok. Stir fry grated ginger, grated garlic and salted fish until fragrant. Add shrimps

   and bean curd. Mix well. Pour in the fish sauce and cook with the lid covered for 3 minutes. Lastly put in

   chopped spring onion and the corn flour solution to thicken the sauce. Serve.
