Abalone in Oyster Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1 can abalone pinch sugar

2 tablespoons peanut oil

1 tablespoon Chinese sauce wine (or
sherry)

2 tablespoons stock

few drops sesame oil

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

pinch sugar
-
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

1 teaspoon chestnut powder (or corn
flour)

1 tablespoon water
Method
1. Drain the abalone, keeping all the
juices, and slice into pieces about 1-inch square and 1/2 inch thick.
2. Heat oil, add wine, stock, sesame oil, oyster sauce, sugar and soy
sauce. Bring to the boil,
then simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add abalone, cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
4. Dilute chestnut powder with water and abalone juice, blend into the
pan and serve at once.
