Wrapped Quail Eggs Recipe

Ingredients

24 quail eggs

4 sheets bean curd skin

1 egg}(1)

3 tablespoon cornstarch (corn flour)}(1)

6 cup oil for frying

2 tablespoon soy sauce}(2)

1 teaspoon sugar}(2)

1 tablespoon vinegar}(2)

1/2 tablespoon sesame oil}(2)

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch (corn flour)}(2)

2 tablespoon water}(2)

 

Method

  • Cook eggs until hard-boiled; remove shells; slice bean curd skin into 6 small sheets; mix (1) into a paste.

  • Spread paste evenly on bean curd sheets; wrap each egg in sheet so that it is totally covered.

  • Heat oil; over a medium flame, deep-fry eggs until golden (about 2 minutes); remove heat (2) to
    boiling; pour mixture is a small bowl for dipping and serve with eggs.
