Stir-Fried Chinese Mushrooms with "Su Tsang" Recipe

Ingredients

2 Chinese Black Mushrooms

5 rolls "Su Tsang"

57 grams fresh bacon

1/2 cup shredded ginger root

1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 MSG

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon sesame oil

 

Method

 

  • Shred "su-tsang" and soften black mushrooms in warm water; remove stems (discard) and shred caps.
    Cut bacon into shreds.

  • Heat pan and 3 tablespoon oil; stir-fry bacon until it changes color and add black mushroom and "su-tsang" shreds; stir-fry over high heat until fragrant; add shredded ginger and (1). Lightly toss ingredients to mix together and remove to serving plate; serve.
    "Su-tsang" are long, thin rolls made of wheat gluten and may be purchased at a Chinese grocery store.
