Steamed Eggs with Bacon Recipe

 

cooking time: 15 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 4-6 eggs

  • 3 tablespoons water

  • 113 grams bacon, chopped

  • 1 dessertspoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3-4 spring onions, chopped
     

Method

 

1. Beat the eggs with water.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients.
3. Pour into a basin, or into individual ramekin dishes.
4. Steam for 15 minutes and serve.


Variations:
Steamed eggs with pork
As above, substituting  lean pork, minced for bacon.


Steamed eggs with prawns
As above, substituting 113 grams. peeled prawns for pork.


Steamed eggs with shrimps
As above, substituting 113 grams peeled shrimps, for prawns.


Steamed eggs with mushrooms
As above, substituting 113 grams mushrooms, chopped for shrimps.


Steamed eggs with ham and bamboo shoots
As above, substituting 113 grams lean ham, diced and 57 grams bamboo shoots, sliced, for mushrooms.
