Squid and Bean Curd in Chili Recipe

 

Ingredients

  • 4 squares bean curd

  • 900 gram fresh squid (cut in big pieces)

  • Salt

  • pepper

  • mustard

  • 2 tbsp fish sauce gravy

  • 4 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp ground chili paste

  • 2 tsps sugar

  • 6 tbsp pork lard

  • spring onion and coriander leaves (chopped for garnishing)

 

Method

 

1. Partially fry the bean curd in shallow fat.

2. Gently lift onto platter. With the same oil fry the garlic and the chili paste.

3. Stir in the squid, sugar and all the seasoning.

4. Spoon fried squid over the bean curd. Garnish and serve hot.
