Pork or Ham Foo Yung Recipe

Ingredients

  • 170 grams ham (or pork) shredded

  • 3 tablespoons lard

  • 6-8 spring onions, shredded

  • 6 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons light colored soy sauce

  • 57 grams bean sprouts, washed

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

  • 3-4 tablespoons cold

  • water
     

Method

 

1. Fry pork (or ham) in 1 tablespoon lard for 1 minute.

2. Add spring onions, fry for 1 minute, stirring constantly and remove from heat.

3. Heat remaining lard in another frying pan.

4. Beat eggs with soy sauce and 1 tablespoon cold water.

5. Add fried contents and bean sprouts and fry the mixture as a thick pancake, 1 1/2 minutes each side,

   turning once to brown both sides.

6. Put on a heated serving dish, cut into wedges and keep warm.

7. Blend corn flour with water, stir into the pan juice, bring to the oil, cook until the sauce thickens,

    pour over Foo Yung and Serve.
