Eight Treasure Stir Fried Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup diced precooked bamboo shoot

1/4 cup diced precooked carrot

1/4 cup diced cucumber

1/4 cup diced pressed bean curd

1 tablespoon dried shrimp

1/4 raw shelled peanuts

1/4 cup green peas

57 grams pork loin

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch (corn flour)}(1)

1/2 tablespoon water}(1)

1/2 tablespoon hot bean paste}(2)

1 tablespoon sweet bean paste}(2)

1 tablespoon soy sauce}(2)

1/2 tablespoon sugar}(2)

1/4 teaspoon MSG}(2)

 

Method

  • Soak peanuts in warm water for 1 hour; remove, drain and remove skins. Precook peas and peanuts    about 5 minutes in boiling water; remove and drain. Dice pork loin and mix with (1).

  • Heat pan and 4 tablespoon oil; stir-fry diced pork until it changes color; add bamboo shoot, carrot, cucumber, bean curd, dried shrimp, peanuts and peas; stir-fry briefly to heat ingredients and remove.

  • Reheat pan and 3 tablespoons oil; add pre-mixed (2) and stir-fry until fragrant; add all other ingredients and mix together; remove to serving plate and serve.
